Here comes the new era of Web 2.0 bringing a revolution in the web-world characteristized by simplicity, big chunks of text, gradients, rounded corners, soft shadows, strokes, mirrors(reflections), and all other imaging effects that makes the designs so simple and professional .

There are no cut-off for Web 2.0 logos and designs to qualify for the title, still a Web 2.0 has some markable characteristics to make it distinguishable from other graphics and artwork .

Web 2.0 designs are bright, cheerful, with lots of blue, orange , green(specially lime green- often referred to as the official color of Web 2.0). The big types and fonts gives the design a distinct look which helps it look open, friendly and bold .

The Web 2.0 style is not only limited to logos or glossy buttons but it is widely used to make beautiful websites, layouts, templates, icons, headers, and even in the print media .

This blog is dedicated to Web 2.0 graphics, designs, logos, and artwork by me mostly made in Adobe Photoshop, the leading image processing software .

Pack of glossy cards



Here comes another piece of shiny stuff, the four different symbols used in cards - spades , diamonds , hearts , clubs . These are the gradiated versions of the symbols with high gloss and shine and also soft shadows against the light blue background of the image .

Green Tux Wallpaper
















Here comes a mac-linux wallpaper with a highly glossy look. A combination of the macintosh background having white swipes of gradients and a linux Tux changed to the similar color combination(green) although the pink nose and legs contrasts to the overall color theme. The all-green wallpaper has gloss, gradients, strokes and most other features to make it eye-catching

Here lands a glossy Web 2.0 style star from the heavens having gloss, gradients, dual strokes, and also an outer glow . This shiny star has a monochromatic blue color theme and can be used as an icon or in a logo .

A monochromatic and pure Web 2.0 style rainbow logo made in photoshop(took 5 minutes to make :) ) with an orange color theme having reflection, gloss, shine and the extra rainbow shaped arc to relate to the theme as well as to make the figure look like a logo other than only a simple type effect
